Mrs. G. is my mother who encouraged me to teach and who founded North East Border in Rutherglen beside me and did all the costuming for the college. She had an astute eye for talent which continues with this award.

Brianna Aitchison Perpetual Trophy --- Recognising "team spirit"
 
Brianna was a student at N.E.B. who lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She had an amazing spirit that truly reflected tenacity, caring and loyalty to her team-mates which will continue in acknowledging a student with these qualities.
